Steel Frame
Bolted Ball Space Frame
AGICO offers fabrication services for all components of a bolted ball space frame, a steel frame that uses bolt-ball joints, with pipe members cut by the HID-900MTS CNC pipe intersecting line-cutting machine. The core processes include material re-inspection, tapered forging, milling, and automated welding. Necessary tests include high-strength bolt tensile strength, weld quality, and structural stability, and comply with standards such as GB 50205.
Here are the basic requirements for space frame components fabrication:
- The cutting quality must meet industry technical standards such as JG/T 10-2009 and GB/T 16939-1997.
- The dimensional accuracy of the pipe cutting length is controlled within ±0.5mm, and the allowable error of the bevel angle is ≤5°.
- The CNC equipment is adopted to ensure the processing accuracy of the members.
- Node assembly must control the gap and perpendicularity error within ±0.5mm.

Bolted Ball Space Frame Components and Specifications
Bolted ball joint steel space frames are a common type of spatial grid structure, and the reliability of their connection nodes is a key safety factor. For each space frame project, selecting the correct standard accessories is fundamental to ensuring the safety and quality of the space frame. AGICO has developed key standard specifications for several commonly used accessories in bolted ball joint steel space frames (sealing plate, end plates, cone heads, high-strength structure bolts, threadless nuts, top screws, and bolt balls) for reference by engineering design, construction, procurement, and related technical personnel.

Sealing Plate Specifications
Sealing plates are used to seal unused threaded holes on bolt balls. Their main specifications are shown in the table below (outer diameter, thickness, and inner hole are all in millimeters (mm), and unit weight is in kilograms (kg):
